Description
SWEET MILLIE: Semi-Double, early period flowering, the link to parentage history is lost. Vigorous increaser, numerous stems, one flower per stem. Flowers: multiple rows of bright pink guard petals surround smaller, twisted inner petals centered by a cluster of stamens and green carpels having red stigmas. Filaments pale greeenish yellow throughout. Both pollen and seed fertile. The plant: vigorous increase, numerous upright stems stand well against inclement weather events. No evident mildew and little leafspot by late July in this very humid season, with its other attributes, make this a promising choice for including in a viewed landscape, as well as a breeding subject for Early period doubling.
