Description
Sparkling Star is a single flower form, Lactiflora peony. The medium-to-large flower opens bright dark pink. The blooms have exceptional longevity and side buds extend the flowering season, providing color for an unusual amount of time.
The plant has a very satisfying plant habit, vigorous and fast growing, forming a medium height bush within four years of planting. The foliage is plentiful and bright green color. It typically remains healthy until the end of the growing season. Sparkling Star is a good choice for the pollinator garden, the mixed perennial border and is particularly useful for mass plantings.

General garden and landscape use; perennial border; mass plantings; deer resistant.
Basic Growing Requirements
Full Sun. Water as needed, sensitive to overwatering and waterlogged conditions. Soil pH 6.5-7. Fertile, well-draining soil.
