$100.00

Melissa excites with medium-sized double blooms opening soft light yellow and maturing to creamy tones, sometimes appearing semi-double on young plants, with broad, well-formed petals layered around a golden center.

Description

Melissa, a double, medium sized flower opens light yellow, fading to cream as flower matures, on young plants displays a semi-double flower. Broad, well-formed petals with segments grading smaller inward surround a cluster of yellow stamens. A nicely tailored, low silhouette flower of good form and substance. Satisfying plant habit, vigorous, reliable, with a good amount of bloom on a spreading, medium height bush. Stems leaning, especially with rain in the opened flower, best with support in the viewed landscape. Attractive foliage, broad and dark green. It is a rare variety, well suited for the perennial border and display garden.
