Description
Lovely Rose is semi-double, hybrid peony. The large flower opens soft warm pink. Rows of broad, cupped petals hold a large cluster of golden stamens, centered by pale carpels with pink stigma. The flower is of excellent substance, forming a pleasingly harmonious flower. Very erect stems form a compact, semi-dwarf bush. It is a vigorous and good grower which produces dependable blooms.
Lovely Rose is a peony of exceptional visual presentation in the border. Leaflets may deteriorate in Midwest summer heat, does not diminish performance. One of the best of Saunder’s “Lobata of Perry Hybrids”.

Basic Growing Requirements
Full Sun. Water as needed, sensitive to overwatering and waterlog conditions. Soil pH 6.5-7. Fertile, well-draining soil.
