Description
Bridal Icing is a bomb double, Lactiflora peony. The slightly fragrant flower opens pure white. A ring of broad outer petals surrounds a tight ball of petal segments forming a near perfect bomb.
The plant has a satisfying plant habit, vigorous and good increase, forming a decent clump within four years of planting. The Medium height bush is well clothed in healthy medium green foliage. Long stems carry the flower above the foliage and staking is suggested. Bridal Icing is an excellent addition to the cut flower garden.
Best Use
General garden and landscape use; mixed border; attracts pollinators and honey bees; deer resistant.
Basic Growing Requirements
Full Sun. Water as needed, sensitive to over-watering and waterlogged conditions. Soil pH 6.5-7. Fertile, well-draining soil.
