Description
Crazy Daisy is a single flower form peony that opens in unique shades of lime green and white base, with raspberry streaking and edging. The flowers appear puffy and decidedly informal or “crazy” in form. The blooms are slightly fragrant with 0-2 side buds per stem.
The deep green foliage is healthy and has an average appearance. Good stem strength, the flowers are close to the foliage canopy and staking is not required. The medium height plant is of good substance. This eclectic variety does well in the sunny border and mixed perennial beds.
Best Use
Fragrant; general garden and landscape use; attracts pollinators and honey bees; deer resistant.
Basic Growing Requirements
Full Sun. Water as needed, sensitive to over-watering and waterlogged conditions. Soil pH 6.5-7. Fertile, well-draining soil.
