Description
Silver Rose is a Semi-double, Lactiflora peony. The large bloom opens rich rose pink with distinct silver frosted margins developing with flower maturation. Broad outer petals surround layers of inner petals that hold a cluster of yellow stamens. In center are pale carpels with pale green-yellow stigmas. This variety is lightly fragrant and fertile both ways, it has pollen and produces seed.
The bush has a pleasing plant habit, vigorous and good increase, it will grow a semi-dwarf to medium height bush. It is a reliable bloomer with a generous amount of color each year. Sturdy stems carry the flower and two to three side buds close to the foliage canopy resulting in a well-proportioned bush. The foliage is deep green and semi-glossy. It remains healthy for most of the growing season. The bush keeps its form well and staking is typically unnecessary. Silver Rose is an attractive peony that deserves an upfront spot in the flower bed and mixed border.

General garden and landscape use; perennial border; mass plantings; deer resistant.
Basic Growing Requirements
Full Sun. Water as needed, sensitive to overwatering and waterlogged conditions. Soil pH 6.5-7. Fertile, well-draining soil.
