Description

The Admiral is a full double, Lactiflora peony. The flowers open snow white and some inner petals are stippled with crimson. On mature blooms the crimson may display a ring like appearance. The very large flower is tightly packed with petals and is of excellent substance.

The plant boasts a satisfactory plant habit. It is vigorous with good increase. The bush is tall and produces a reasonable number of stems. The stems are long and will collapse under the weight of the flower. Adequate mechanical support is strongly suggested. The Admiral is a show table stunner as well as a nice cut flower garden plant.

Rare and Novelty; general garden and landscape use; perennial border; deer resistant.
