Description

Double, large flower opens light yellow soon pales to cream shades in the sun. The color is clean throughout, the pigment is more durable on stems opened in a vase. Broad, rounded petals, grading smaller inward, enclose a loose cluster of pollen-bearing stamens. Yellow stamens mostly hidden by petal segments and completely obscured on older plants. Pale green carpels are fertile and will set seed, the stigma if exposed is of conspicuous, deep red color. The flowers are of good quality, nicely tailored and fine substance. Side buds extend bloom. Good plant habit, quite vigorous and good grower, a dependable bloomer with abundant color on a large, medium height bush. Long stems spreading, needs support if to be flowered in the viewed landscape. Good foliage, semi-glossy medium green, covers bush well. It furnishes fine stems for the vase and is a fabulous choice for the cut flower. Excellent stem count, large smooth buds completely enclosed by protective guards and sepals, as well as good cold storage qualities make it an interesting choice for commercial cut flower growers.
