Description
Salomon Dream is a semi-double, herbaceous hybrid peony. The flower opens pastel salmon pink with a yellow center. Broad petals surround a cluster of pollen bearing stamens and fertile carpels; the stigmas are pale pink. The flower form is symmetrical and has a flat profile.
The plant habit has a satisfying plant habit, good vigor and reasonable increase. It forms a medium-height bush. The foliage is attractive, deep green and glossy. The stems carry flowers above the canopy of leaves and are self-supporting but may lean with rain. Salmon Dream is a beautiful peony for the flower bed and has proven useful for hybridizing.
