Description
Pastel Whisper is an up facing single flower form peony. A double row of rounded guard petals surrounds a large center of golden yellow stamens. The carpels are pale and crested with prominent rose red stigmas. The broad petals are soft apricot pastel with distinctly edged, delicate, deep rose flares. One bloom per stem, slight fragrance. The flower is fertile producing both pollen and seed. Broad pointed green foliage. The plant habit is above average, producing a well-formed medium height bush. Upright growth habit, strong stems carry the flowers close to the canopy and do not require mechanical support. Blooms very early season, providing a striking display in the flower border.

Basic Growing Requirements
Full Sun. Water as needed, sensitive to over-watering and waterlogged conditions. Soil pH 6.5-7. Fertile, well-draining soil.
