Description

Madison is a Japanese flower form Lactiflora peony. A double row of deep pink guard petals surrounds a large cluster of yellow staminode. The carpels are topped with pink stigmas. The large flowers are held by strong stems. Each stem has 2-3 buds and is self-supporting, staking is typically not needed. It has good plant habit, increases well, and is a reliable bloomer. The medium height bush is well clad with luxurious foliage. Madison boasts many great qualities making it an excellent selection for the flower bed and the mixed perennial border.

Basic Growing Requirements
Full Sun. Water as needed, sensitive to over-watering and waterlogged conditions. Soil pH 6.5-7. Fertile, well-draining soil.
