Description
Gold Standard is a Japanese flower form, Lactiflora peony. The flower opens white with a yellow center. Two rows of broad petals surround a center of yellow golden petalodes. The flower is of good substance and polished form.
The plant has a very satisfying plant habit. It is a heavy grower and of good to increase forming a tall bush, a showy variety of large size. Strong stems support the flowers, the bush keeping its shape well against inclement weather event. Staking typically is not required. Gold Standard is an attractive peony that does well in the flower bed and the cut flower garden.

Basic Growing Requirements
Full Sun. Water as needed, sensitive to over-watering and waterlogged conditions. Soil pH 6.5-7. Fertile, well-draining soil.
