Chestine Gowdy makes for a wonderful feature in your vase presentations. The pink and cream full double blooms are richly petaled with a tall, elegant silhouette and an exquisite rose fragrance.

Description

Chestine Gowdy, a fragrant, full double flower opens in shades of light pink and cream, a unique and attractive combination of color. Broad guards surround a collar of cream colored petalodes and a heavy cluster of pink inner petals. It is thickly furnished with petals creating a high silhouette bloom that appears to be taller than wide. The flower is of exceptional form, heavy substance, and exquisite rose fragrance.

The bush has a very satisfying plant habit, it is quite vigorous and a dependable bloomer. It produces ample color on a tall bush within a few years of planting. Long stems lean with the heavy flower. Mechanical support is suggested if grown in the viewed landscape. Chestine Gowdy is an excellent cut flower garden variety that furnishes fine stems for the vase.
