Description
Louise Marx is Japanese flower form peony. The large flower opens pure white with a yellow center. Multiple rows of cupped guard petals surround a large center of yellow staminodes. The bloom has good substance and has an attractive, formal form.
The bush boasts a very satisfying plant habit. It is a robust plant, vigorous, and exbibits a good rate of increase, forming a substantial clump withing 4 years of planting. It is productive and reliable bloomer. The tall, strong stems are willowy but typically do not need support in the landscape. Louise Marx boasts excellent qualities and works well in the flower bed and yields unique stems for the vase.

Basic Growing Requirements
Full Sun. Water as needed, sensitive to overwatering and waterlog conditions. Soil pH 6.5-7. Fertile, well-draining soil.
