White Sands drifts in with fragrant, medium-sized blooms that open crisp white and glow with a soft pale-yellow center. Broad guard petals encircle a delicate mix of creamy petalodes and golden staminodes for a refined, luminous look.

Description

White Sands, is a fragrant, Japanese to anemone form, opening white with pale yellow center. A medium size flower consists of large guard petals surrounding a cluster of narrow off-white petalodes and yellow staminodes. On younger flowers the yellowish staminodes have a deeper yellow color. It is a dependable performer. A strong, erect bush with many stems. This variety is aptly suited for the sunny border and the cut flower garden, yielding fine stems for the vase.

Cut flower garden; fragrant variety; general garden and landscape use; perennial border; deer resistant.

Basic Growing Requirements
Full Sun. Water as needed, sensitive to overwatering and waterlogged conditions. Soil pH 6.5-7. Fertile, well-draining soil.
