Description
Blitz Tort, a single, on well-established plants semi-double flower; opens white with prominent red flairs. Petals are fluted and twisted. Layers of petals surround a yellow boss; yellow stamens, filaments yellow, prominent carpels, stigma red. Mild fragrance. Good plant habit, dependable, good amount of blooms on a vigorous medium height bush. Makes an excellent presentation in the garden.
Best Use
Novelty variety; fragrant variety; general garden and landscape use; perennial border; deer resistant; hybridizing; attracts pollinators and honey bees.
Basic Growing Requirements
Full Sun. Water as needed, sensitive to overwatering and waterlogged conditions. Soil pH 6.5-7. Fertile, well-draining soil.
