Semi-double, nearly double on well grown mature plants; large, flower opens deep rose pink. Brilliant pigment, petals with random spots and flecks, color fades in the sun, petal margins frosted. The flower is cast in a faint, silvery gloss by the time petals drops. Large, broad petals, grade smaller and narrower inward, surround a ring of yellow stamens with a tuft of petals within. Good plant habit, vigorous and good grower, a dependable bloomer with plenty of color on a generously large, medium height bush. Bush with lush, deep green foliage well covered from top to bottom, remains attractive for most of the growing season. Strong, long stem carries flower near the foliage canopy, leaning with opened flower and must have good support if to be displayed in the viewed landscape, otherwise a fine peony in the sunny border. Furnishes good stems for the vase and makes a beautiful choice for the cut flower garden.
