Anemone, bomb double on mature, well grown plants; large size, flower opens in a clean combination of white and yellow. Two rows of broad, well-formed guards surround a large cluster of yellow petalodes, in center inconspicuous, pale carpels with pale stigma. The guards are cupped and of waxy, quite heavy substance. In center yellow segments, petalodes are narrow and long, some white petal segments intermixed. Side buds extend bloom. Flower without stamens or pollen, normal gynoecium and fertile, will set seeds. Very satisfying plant habit, vigorous and fast grower, a dependable bloomer with abundant color on a large, medium height bush. Strong, stiff stem carries flower near the foliage canopy. The bush holds together well against rough weather, typically self-supporting, staking depends on placement in the landscape. The foliage is rich, deep green and covers the plant from top to bottom. A beautiful, large peony that makes an excellent presentation in the landscape and furnishes fine stems for the vase.
