Single, large size flower opens medium yellow, fades to lighter yellow in the sun. The color is clean throughout, segments with a fluted texture. Two rows of very large, broad petals surround large ring of golden yellow stamens, centered by prominent pale carpels with red stigmas. The handsome flower has no fragrance, side buds extend bloom. Good plant habit, vigorous and good grower, a dependable bloomer with ample color on a large, tall bush. Deep green foliage remains attractive well into the summer. Strong stems carry flowers near the canopy, free standing when grown well, makes a wonderful display in the perennial border.
