Full double, large flower opens in shades of rose-pink to blush pink. A reliable, beautiful blooming flower with generously furnished petals displaying exhibition quality form, on a tall bush. The American Peony Society cultivar list declares it a synonym for Reine Hortense (Carlot, 1857) but does not give exact reason. Good plant habit, vigorous, good increase. Durable, deep green foliage remains healthy for most of the growing season. Strong stems may sag with rain in the opened flower and benefits from mechanical support for best results. Outstanding display in the landscape and great for cutting.
