The fragrant, anemone form, medium size flower opens deep cerise pink, the center is white when fully mature. Broad guard petals surround a cluster of petalodes. Upon opening the segments are of a creamy color which is accentuated by bright rose-pink shades. The pigments are more brilliant in cool spring climate. While the flower is rather small, each stem bears multiple buds. It is a reliable bloomer with profuse color on a substantial bush. The long stem is self-supporting and carries the flowers well above the foliage. Staking is typically not required if grown well and in full sun. The semi-glossy foliage is medium green and remains attractive for most of the growing season. It is an excellent cultivar for the perennial border and cut flower garden.
