Very fragrant, full double, the large flower opens old rose pink. It is generously furnished with petals that are arranged in a pleasing form. Vigorous, free flowering with ample color on a sizable, medium height bush. Strong stems lean when in open flower and mechanical support is suggested if flowered in the viewed landscape. Dependable bloom and the number of stems make it a well-regarded variety. Identified as one of the oldest commercial cultivars in Western nations' commerce it remains an outstanding peony that makes a great addition to a cut flower garden and is a good cutter for commercial growers.

Full Sun. Water as needed, sensitive to overwatering and waterlog conditions. Soil pH 6.5-7. Fertile, well-draining soil.
