Single, medium size flower opens brilliant red. Well formed, broad petals enclose a small yellow center. Carpels are mostly obscured by the yellow stamens while the dark red stigmas are visible. A pleasing combination of bright colors on a nicely formed flower. The bush has a very satisfying plant habit, it is quite vigorous and a dependable bloomer. It produces ample color on an attractive bush within a few years of planting. The blooms are carried above a canopy of the dark green foliage. Strong stems hold the flowers erect and the bush keeps its form quite well against inclement weather events. The bright colors attract attention from afar and make it a fine addition to the perennial border.
