The fragrant bomb double flower opens bright raspberry red with a raspberry cream center. Broad guard petals surround a ball of slender inner segments. The substantial, medium size flower is nicely tailored and of good substance. A dependable variety with a satisfying plant habit. The increase of this vigorous plant is average, growing an attractive bush after a few years of planting. It is a late midseason bloomer with ample color on a medium height bush. Dark green leaflets remain attractive for most of the growing season, well into the fall. The long stem carries the flower above the foliage but close enough for a pleasing presentation. The stems are long enough for cutting, furnishing fine stems for the vase. The bush keeps its shape quite well, provide support if found necessary. This variety is an excellent performer in the landscape and a great choice for the cut flower garden.
