Best Landscaper® 'Sentry'
Originator:(Hollingsworth,2021)
Group: Herbaceous Hybrid
Bloom period: Early Midseason
Bloom week: 3
Flower form: Single
Height: Tall
USDA Zone: 3 to 7
Item number: 2135

Details:

Single; large size, flower opens cardinal red, the pigment quite durable, losing little luster until petals drop. Two to three rows of large, well-formed guards surround a sharply contrasting center: stamens yellow, stigmas pale and carpels white, the whole enhancing the overall visual impact of the flowers. Excellent plant habit, vigorous and good grower, a dependable bloomer with loads of color on a large, tall bush. Blooms presented near the foliage on stoutly erect stems. Both, foliage and stems quite resistant to fungal disease here in NW Missouri. The plant’s appearance holding up well through the summer, well into the fall. The bush habit lends itself perfectly for landscape presentation and keeps the bush form well against rough weather, staking not needed. Both, the bush and flower are of exemplary quality, making it a fabulous variety for the perennial border and mass planting.
