Full double; large size, flower opens deep rose pink, in cooler climates or cold spring, nearly violet. The pigment is clean throughout. The intensity fades with age, particularly outer petals acquire a frosted, silvery cast at maturity. The bloom boasts many petals and is generously furnished with broad, nicely formed segments. Petal segments grade smaller inward, form a high silhouette, globular flower of exquisite shape and substance. Exemplary plant habit, vigorous and excellent grower, a very dependable bloomer with prolific color on a stout, medium height bush. Strong, erect stem carries flower near the foliage canopy. Bush holds together against rough weather, support typically not needed. Large compound leaves, the leaflets are of broad, oval shape and of semi-glossy, deep green color. The foliage remains attractive for most of the growing season. It is rated among the best sorts available, a magnificent peony well suited for the perennial border and the cut flower garden.

Basic Growing Requirements
Full Sun. Water as needed, sensitive to overwatering and waterlog conditions. Soil pH 6.5-7. Fertile, well-draining soil.
