Single; medium size, flower opens in shades of pink blush. Two rows of large, long petals surround a cluster of yellow stamen, in center are prominent rose red carpels, the stigma is of same color. The shape is of low silhouette and flat, the flower is of mild fragrance. Side buds extend the bloom season. A delicate flower that derives its name from pink dogwood (Cornus florida) blossoms. This pretty little peony provides for a cheerful presence in the near border and it is a great choice for the living garden.
