Semi-double; large flower, opens medium rose pink, many petals, tips and margins frosted; visible stamen cluster at center contributes a pleasing yellow contrast that draws the eye from a distance. A good grower, flowers set close to the stoutly erect bush, well-constituted for the viewed landscape. Strong stems carry the bloom close the foliage, the dense compact bush holds form well against inclement weather even without support. A most remarkable presentation in the nursery row, the silhouette appears ever so much like a formal clipped hedge. It is a dependable bloomer which does not disappoint. An excellent choice for the near border.
