The semi-double flower opens white with random red and green stipple, the “frittering” markings, with a yellow center. The petals are fluted and twisted, arranged in a decidedly random pattern around a cluster of yellow stamens and prominent red pistils. This unique flower is of an informal, cactus-dahlia style form. The bush has a good plant habit, it is vigorous and increased well, growing a substantial clump within a few years of planting. The dependable bloomer produces ample color on a medium height bush. The medium size flower and side buds are born on a long stem. The bush is covered in deep green foliage which lasts for most of the growing season. This cactus-dahlia lactiflora style peony shows well in a mixed flower border, adding a unique flare to the display.
