Japanese, bomb double on mature plants opens in a rich, warm red. Buds are ovoid and of medium green color. Excellent plant habit, floriferous, dependable bloom, vigorous grower on a compact, medium height bush. Strong, erect stems that are self-supporting, carry flowers close to the attractive medium green foliage. Leaflets are lightly waved. For the landscape, foliage appearance benefits from shade in our Midwest summer heat. Long lasting cut stems store well and will hold for weeks in refrigerated storage.
