Fragrant, full double flower opens bright pink shades with a golden collar. On mature specimens this collar of yellow staminodes becomes a complete, quite broad ring, separating the rows of the outer petals from the inner flower, resulting in a remarkable symmetry of a “flower in a flower” shape. Packed with petals, the very large flower is of high build, nearly conical form, and heavy substance. The bush has a satisfactory plant habit, it is vigorous, of a moderate increase, and dependable bloom. It produces ample color on a spreading, tall bush within a few years of planting. The flower and side buds are borne on long stems well above the foliage. The stems sag with the opened flower and the sprawling bush does not hold requiring appropriate mechanical support. The glossy, green leaves are well formed, of a thick, nearly leathery substance and remain healthy throughout the growing season. This variety yields fine cut stems for the vase and the cut stems are of exhibition flower quality.
