Single; small, whimsical flower opens deep rose red. Two rows of guards surround a cluster of yellow stamens centered by prominent, pale green carpels, stigma red. Flowers in good proportion to the short to semi-dwarf plant, one bud per stem. Infertile flower without fragrance, no seed or pollen. Good plant habit, vigorous but slow to increase, reliable bloom with ample color on a small, compact bush. Holds form well against bad weather events. It is a charming little peony well suited for a near border or a rock garden setting.

Basic Growing Requirements
Full Sun. Water as needed, sensitive to overwatering and waterlog conditions. Soil pH 6.5-7. Fertile, well-draining soil.
