Details:

Full double; large, flower opens crimson red. Large outer petals, grade narrower inward, segments loosely arranged, leave a few pollen-bearing, yellow stamens exposed, no fragrance. Petal segments are wavy and notched, make an attractive flower within the early generation, heirloom class of peonies. Good plant habit, vigorous and fair grower, free flowering with ample color on a spreading, medium height bush. Stems sag with open flower, display with support in the viewed landscape. Yields fine stems for the vase and is a good choice for the cut flower garden.
