Japanese; medium size flower, opens chocolate-red. Broad petals surround a cluster of same color staminodes delicately edged in gold, centered by diminutive carpels. An attractive, surprisingly long lasting, dark colored flower with good form. Excellent plant habit; vigorous and fast to increase, dependable bloom with ample color on a generous, medium height bush. Deep green leaflets on stout, self-supporting stem, carries the flowers above the canopy. Excellent in the landscape, great choice for the cut flower garden.

Basic Growing Requirements
Full Sun. Water as needed, sensitive to overwatering and waterlog conditions. Soil pH 6.5-7. Fertile, well-draining soil.
