Enchanted - (Herbaceous Hybrid) - Don Hollingsworth, Maryville, Missouri. Hollingsworth №. 2104, parentage record lost. (SINGLE) brilliant cool pink, the guard petals surround a contrasting large, light yellow stamens boss, opening Early Midseason (Third Week). One large flower per stem is presented near the foliage, has mild, pleasant fragrance, retains its cupped shape well through petal fall. Large leaflets clothe medium height stems, the plant appearance holds up well into summer, on vigorous plants, which increase well. Highly infertile, presumed triploid, pollen rare or absent, no seeds have been seen of open pollination, but produced rarely when crossed by a range of fertile tetraploid pollens. Awarded the American Peony Society Seedling Certificate of Merit at the 2012 exhibition.
