Best Cut® 'Coral Charm'
Originator: (Wissing, 1964)
Group: Herbaceous Hybrid
Bloom period: Early Midseason
Bloom week: 3
Flower form: Semi-double
Height: Tall
USDA Zone: 3 to 7
Item number: 1454

Details:

Semi-double, large flower opens deep orange-coral. The color passes to coral-peach shades and matures into a pale creamy beige over time. Several layers of strongly cupped petals grade smaller inward to a cluster of light-yellow stamens. It is a nicely tailored flower with good substance. The bush has a fair plant habit, it is quite vigorous, increases well and is a dependable bloomer. However, it is a sprawling bush with very long stems and requires mechanical support. This variety furnishes excellent, long-lasting stems for the vase which makes it a great choice for the cut flower garden. It is a well-regarded peony for the florist industry and the most demanded for floral decoration.
