NEW VARIETY INTRODUCTION 2021

Single; large flower, opens cardinal red. Three rows of large, well-formed guard petals surround a sharply contrasting center: stamens light yellow, stigmas pale and carpels white, the whole enhancing the overall visual impact of the flowers. The blooms are presented close to the foliage on stoutly erect, medium-tall stems. Growth is vigorous, the foliage and stems generally tolerant of fungi infection, plant appearance holding up well through summer. The bush habit is well adapted for landscape presentation, staking not needed, makes a fabulous display in the perennial border or mass planting.
