Fragrant, Japanese; large flower, opens deep carmine red. Well-formed, broad petals surround a large cluster of light yellow staminodes, paling to cream white as the flower matures. A gorgeous flower that is of excellent form and substance. Side buds extend the bloom. Outstanding plant habit; dependable bloom, good increase, grows a generous, medium height bush. Deep green leaflets on stout, upright stems carries the flowers near the canopy, self-supporting when grown well. It is an excellent specimen for the landscape, great choice for the cut flower garden.
