Details:

Single, large flower opens pure white, nearly of Japanese form. Two rows of large petals surround a large yellow boss, in center pale carpels tipped with rose red stigmas. Petals are of heavy, noticeably waxy substance surround the cluster of bright yellow stamens, many markedly transformed toward staminode form. It is a well-tailored flower, well-proportioned and of good substance. Excellent plant habit, quite vigorous and a good grower, a dependable bloomer with generous color on a large, medium height bush. An exemplary peony in every aspect but one, in our climate we often see flower bud damage by late spring freezes - otherwise a Best Landscaper. Free standing, strong stems carry the flowers near the canopy, no support needed. It is an eye-catching peony in the perennial border, decorative throughout the growing season; fabulous in the landscape.

Basic Growing Requirements
Full Sun. Water as needed, sensitive to overwatering and waterlog conditions. Soil pH 6.5-7. Fertile, well-draining soil.
