Japanese; large flower with excellent substance, opens white. Two or three rows of large, neatly tailored petals surround a large boss of yellow staminodes. Staminodes are narrow, furled and twisted; they conceal smallish, pale green carpals. Good petal substance resists weather damage. Dense bush; strong, medium tall stems well clothed in big-leaved, deep green foliage. Good plant habit, abundant and reliable bloomer makes for a remarkable landscape peony. This peony is named for Patricia Victor in appreciation of her work for the American Peony Society.
