Fragrant, Japanese; large flower with excellent substance, opens pure white. Two or three rows of large, neatly tailored petals surround a large boss of golden staminodes. Staminodes are relatively broad, incurved and typically conceal smallish carpals with pink stigma. Good petal substance resists weather damage. Broad bush, strong, medium tall stems well clothed in deep green foliage. Self-supporting plant that does not require staking. Good plant habit, abundant and reliable bloomer makes for a remarkable landscape peony. Fertile, has seeds, no pollen
