AVAILABILITY
– Items cataloged herein may be reserved on paid orders for fall shipment. The
plants will be reserved on orders when paid until the availability is exhausted.
Telephoned, faxed and e-mailed orders will be entered pending prompt payment. No
substitutions will be made unless you authorize it. Autumn delivery only, early
September and following in the sequence the orders received.
We GUARANTEE the plants to be satisfactory upon arrival (please report promptly) and true to name when flowered. We DO NOT assure the plants will live and grow well for you—that outcome depends too much upon circumstances beyond our control. However, if you lose a plant in the first year, do let us know. We will work with you to diagnose causes and possible replacement. PAYMENT MUST BE IN US DOLLARS – Firm commitment of plants is only on paid orders. Please pay with your order or upon the confirmation invoice, we do not regularly send out billing statements. Bank transfers service charges to be paid by purchaser. Missouri destinations, add the applicable State Sales Tax as set forth on the order form. This also applies to out-of-state purchasers who pick up their plants here. Personal checks are welcomed - upon timely orders there is plenty of time for your personal check to clear. Electronic payment by CREDIT CARD is now available – must have an E-MAIL address. SHIPPING CHARGES -- For retail shipments to destinations in the contiguous 48 states, we continue our flat fee policy—add $8.00 per order toward packaging and carrier charges. Our current regular domestic carriers are Priority Mail or DHL Ground Service. Special requests, including express shipping or a different carrier, will be honored if at all available from here. The special service will be assessed for prepay upon estimated package weight. ALASKA shipments will go by Priority Mail unless otherwise requested. Alaska carrier charges will be assessed to purchaser at estimated cost. CANADA purchasers please specify preferred carrier service. International Express should be expected to move through Customs in least time, but at higher cost to you. Express also offers package tracking as compared to the new Priority Mail International. Recent experience with UPS Ground Service has been satisfactory and most economical, includes tracking. Specify a preferred shipping mode if desired. We will develop charges upon estimated weight and bill for prepayment. OVERSEAS ORDERS – In accordance with destination country requirements, all export orders for plants require United States Department of Agriculture Certificate of Phytosanitary Inspection, currently $35.00 per shipment for any quantity of plants. Shipment is by way of DHL air express, door-to-door service, for all overseas retail purchases, unless other service is requested. We will arrange according to your instruction or suggest a comparable service that is available to us. Overseas shipments will be charged for prepayment upon estimated weight.
