Large red-pink petals. A novel, fertile hybrid of unknown ancestry tagged "a fine red" when sent to us by Silvia Saunders in 1973 upon closing her father's nursery. When entered in the 2003 APS exhibition it was made Best Seedling of Show. The wine red of its mature stems and leaf petioles is accenting and the color persists through the season. Spreading bush habit is suitable for a mixed planting. Offered now especially for its breeder potential, fertile both ways. Item 0569. $20.00
