We are pleased to present this opportunity for our viewers to share their photographs of peonies in their landscape
or special cut-flower arrangements. Information on submitting your
photos can be found below.
All too often peonies are relegated to a spot in the yard to bloom
during late spring and pretty much be forgotten the rest of the year.
And, cut peonies seem predestined to Memorial Day arrangements. We
know from our visits to Peony Society gatherings and local clubs that many
of you have done outstanding things with peonies in your landscapes and as
cut-flowers. We hope you will share your pictures with our viewers.

Last Memorial Day weekend [2005] my
husband and I visited your peony gardens when they were in
bloom--what a treat. Well, I just had to have Garden Treasure
and ordered Trefford Bigger and Chief Wapello.
They all have bloomed the first year. I'm attaching photos of
Garden Treasure (had 2 large blooms) and Trefford Bigger
(had 6 blooms) to show you (and anyone else who is interested)
that peonies do indeed bloom in north Louisiana. Of course, my
old time Mons. Jules Elie and Festiva Maxima are
glorious with many blooms on many plants.
